James F. Parham

Professor, Geological Sciences, California State University - Fullerton

My academic history includes an undergraduate degree in geology, a dissertation in integrative biology, and postdoctoral appointments at a genome center and the Encyclopedia of Life.

My research answers questions about threats to biodiversity and evolution of biodiversity through empirical investigations involving fieldwork, comparative anatomy, genetics, and specimen-based research. I have active research projects in the Caribbean, South America, and USA (especially California), primarily on turtles, lizards, and marine mammals.
